ORLANDO, Fla. (June 1, 2025) – Orlando City B has signed Orlando City Academy products and 2025 Generation adidas Cup U-18 winners Clovis Archange and Jackson Platts to MLS NEXT Pro contracts, the Club announced today.

“Jackson and Clovis are both promising, young talents who have earned their first professional contracts,” said Ricardo Moreira, Orlando City SC General Manager & Sporting Director. “The two played key roles in bringing our first-ever GA Cup title to the Club earlier this year, which underscores the hard work, perseverance, and commitment they’ve shown throughout the years and is now culminating with a path for their professional careers with Orlando City. We’re excited for them to take this next step in their development.”

Platts, 18, and Archange, 16, anchored the Orlando City U-18 team that won this year’s Generation adidas Cup at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The annual tournament brings together top MLS academies and international club sides to compete in U-18 and U-16 age groups, with this year’s field comprising 80 teams representing four continents. Platts captained the side in the championship match and was named to the tournament’s U-18 Best XI, while Archange was named to the 2025 Generation adidas Cup Rising XI prior to the start of the competition.

At the international stage, Platts has featured across several training camps for the U-16 and U-18 levels of the U.S. Men's Youth National Teams (USMYNT), including the UEFA Friendship Cup in Switzerland this week. Archange, born in Cameroon but raised in Montréal, Canada, has featured four times for Canada’s U-17 National Team, making his debut in an international friendly in November 2024 and starting three matches for Les Rouges in the CONCACAF U-17 Championship tournament this past February.

Orlando City B is back in action on Friday, June 6, when the side takes on Huntsville City FC at Wicks Family Field. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET and the match will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
